The latest configurations range from the Core i7-9750H up to the Core i9-9880H with GeForce RTX 2060 images up to the RTX 2080 Max-Q. Display choices include only 144 Hz or 240 Hz at 1080p without a 4K UHD for the writing.
Aside from the aforementioned adjustments, the new GS65 9SG/9SF/9SE SKUs are identical to last year’s 8RE/8RF with only a few notable exceptions which we shall detail below. The GS65 9SG test unit we have today carries a Core i7-9750H using RTX 2080 Max-Q images, a 240 Hz IPS screen, along with a 512 GB NVMe SSD for $3000 USD on a Xotic PC. Of course, lesser SKUs are available for up to $1000 less. Users that want more budget offerings can still examine the entry-level MSI GP or GF series or even the Asus TUF FX505DY series.
