The K70 RGB MK.2 is an excellent follow-up to an already cherished mechanical gaming keyboard. You get nearly all that made the original K70 superb, along with some useful new features, though none of them are genuinely must-haves. Regardless of the mild makeover, it’s still a great keyboard with a premium layout and feature set, which makes it one of the very best mechanical keyboards on the market.
The K70 has always been a higher-end keyboard from CORSAIR with committed media controllers and RGB backlighting as a feature for years now. There was a distinctive RAPIDFIRE variation that came out in recent decades, using the newest Cherry MX Speed Silver switch, and CORSAIR decided they wanted more SKUs under the K70 name. Here we are consequently, and thanks to CORSAIR for supplying an overview sample.
The SE at”K70 RGB MK.2 SE” stands for Special Edition, which generally comes at a higher price point than the more conventional (is that even a thing here?) K70 RGB MK.2.
