Williams – Wasn’t expecting this to work as well as it did, but using it as directed (applying immediately after shower into wet hair) gave me AMAZING curls– the type of curls that usually take me 45 minutes of hand-separating with cream and light gel. The only thing I will say is that, after multiple uses in a row (2-3 times in 2 weeks), my hair started to feel drier than normal. I like to use this on days where I’m pressed for time or just want super defined curls with minimal effort, but also alternate with a more moisturizing (and cheaper!) product.
Of note: I have 3c-4a hair.
FitConvert – Just didn’t do anything for my hair. It didn’t absorb into the hair even though I used as little as possible and made sure my hair was soaking wet as instructed on the bottle. When my hair dried it was sticky and flakey. I had to rewash my hair. It was an expensive purchasing mistake on top of it. Camille Rose products in general are comparatively expensive so I am hesitant about purchasing them. Really wanted this to work out but unfortunately did not.
Intrigued Reviewer – Check the ingredients of this gel. Everything is so good for your hair. So, I know it won’t dry out my hair. It gave me a really strong hold (crunch) on my 4c hair. If you want a good hold without a crunch, try the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel. It’s a butter that gives the hold of a gel. The smell was great and does not linger. Left my Day 2…3…4 hair moisturized. Wish it cost less, but have to pay for products with very good ingredients
J. K. C. Carter – On the very first day I used it, I got a lot of compliments on my curls. I wanted to try this since I have been using them Camille Rose Curl Love Moisture Milk for a year and love it. Sadly, it came in a slightly padded envelope that did not protect it from handling and the pump broke. I have to take the pump out and try to pour it out into my hand. I hope I find a solution before I get to the bottom!
